Meet Emily – Strength Running and Core Restore.


When I'm putting these reels together, watch here, it's a real reminder and tear-jerker of how far Emily has come. I’m so incredibly proud.

Emily started training with me 15 months ago, but first joined me when she had her little girl over 3 years ago.

A keen runner and outdoorsy girl at heart, Emily came to me wanting to return to running stronger than before and rebuild her abdominal strength after being diagnosed with a rectus diastasis.

Her commitment never wavered, even once she was back at work as a GP, and with hubby working away in the week and two little ones under four, I still don’t know how she found the energy and dedication to train... but she did. And the results speak for themselves:

✔️ 20lb weight loss
✔️ 41cm reduction
✔️ 8.34% body fat lost
✔️ Diastasis improved pressure recovered

Strength PBs all round

✔️ trapbar deadlift from 20kg to 60kg
✔️ plank from 1:20 to 3:39
✔️Assisted pull up to 7 full pull-ups!
✔️ 1000m row from 6:33 → 4:55
✔️ Wall sit from 1:56 → 3:18
✔️ And a 5k park run PB of 22 minutes, which is faster than pre-pregnancy

From wobbly beginnings to full pull-ups and a beautifully restored core… It’s been incredible to watch.

Emily is leaving Sheffield on a new adventure. We’ve already planned that once she’s settled and her home gym is unpacked, we’ll jump into online coaching, and I honestly can’t wait.
