When can I start and How to Join?
You can join Keep mums fit classes at anytime after 13 weeks. If you are a member of another gym or attend classes elsewhere you may wish to wait and join specific pregnancy exercise classes later from 20 plus weeks.
WORD of ADVICE always tell your instructor you are pregnant as many mainstream classes and gym work is unsuitable during pregnancy if not modified or adapted.
The benefits of exercise for both mum and baby is widely researched and evidence suggests all women should be encouraged to participate in aerobic and strength-conditioning exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy. The vast majority of pregnancies are low risk however please Read our FAQ as some conditions will need discussing with your health care professional before taking part in our program.
Regular commitment to the program will enhance your strength, confidence and maintain your fitness, for this reason all classes are booked in 6 week blocks and I would strongly advise you to commit to at least 2 blocks.
Try a class for FREE Then block book and purchase the six session credit pack (8 week expiry)
PAYG is also available from 36 weeks …I know how tired you may feel towards the end of your pregnancy!

What People Are Saying
I contacted Kate early in my pregnancy as having spoken to others with hypermobility, I had visions of needing crutches and perhaps a wheelchair later on. I am fitter, more mobile and far more confident in my body's ability at 9 months pregnant than I would ever have dared possible, I can't recommend Kate's gym, and training with Lauren, enough.
— Maddy
The pregnancy classes are really supportive, friendly and helpful. Kate is great a teacher and supporter. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pregnancy class where they can have fun, learn and increase confidence for birth-alongside exercise and relaxation.
— Catherine
I learnt more in the antenatal chats than I did from my actual antenatal classes, and was able to ask more questions, especially of the second time Mums who had already been through the experience. Highly recommend.
