Sara

What a proud trainer I am - Meet Sara if anyone can inspire you to make a change even when the mountain seems so hard to climb and you don’t know where to start, it’s her story. We met when I was still training clients in my Lodge moor studio.

So many times she had walked passed my studio never daring to venture inside, until by chance we got chatting at an event. Taking my flyer the next time we met was on the keep mums fit six week postnatal foundation course. Sara joined the group and began the start of her journey.

Two months later Sara walked into the studio and asked for help, she was struggling with the right information to get her started. Her aim and long term goal was clear from the very beginning, lose weight, keep it off and to make fitness part of her life and regular routine.

At no point did she say she wanted to be able to run! But over the months her consistent effort to learn new healthy nutritional habits and commitment to personal training saw her lose weight, gain strength and grow in confidence. With no fond memories of running at school she never believed she could, but 8 months after starting, steady progress was made and running became part of her personal training program.

Nearly 5 stone lighter in just over 2 years, Sara has excelled and reached her goals with ‘bells and whistles’ and goes from strength to strength.

Her success she’ll say is down to ongoing support and encouragement, monitoring what she ate at the beginning consistently and with honesty using my fitness pal as a tool to understanding how her nutritional habits prevented her losing weight in the past.

And Now through continued commitment and effort when celebrations and holidays occur she maintains her motivation to balance intake with exercise.
