MEET HOLLY – A MINDSET SHIFT THAT SPARKED A RESULT
We all know that getting fitter and feeling better isn’t just about losing weight. Sometimes, it’s about finding the spark again, reconnecting with movement, community, and most of all… yourself.
Holly’s story is one we’re incredibly proud to share.
When she signed up for our Empower Bootcamp, her goal was simple: to enhance her physical fitness. But what unfolded over those 12 weeks went far beyond burpees and planks.
“Honestly, my greatest achievement has been the mindset shift I’ve had. I’d fallen out of love with fitness over the last few years. I had no energy to do anything strenuous… but when I saw the sign-up at my local park, I pushed myself to join. I was dreading the first session, but everyone was so welcoming, and I actually enjoyed it!”
Every week, Holly showed up even when it felt hard. What started as a daunting commitment soon became something she looked forward to. Bit by bit, the old narrative of “I’m too unfit” was replaced with “I’m getting stronger” and “I can do this.”
“Each week, I’ve gained strength and enjoyment in movement, something I didn’t think was possible!”
And the results? They’re so much more than the number on the scale (though those are impressive too!).
Since starting Empower Bootcamp, Holly has:
Lost 7kg
Dropped a bra size!
Improved her strength, endurance, and confidence
Built friendships and felt part of a supportive community
And most importantly? She’s fallen back in love with fitness.
"Feeling my fitness improve each week, being less out of breath during running warmups, holding planks with more ease, feeling overall stronger, that’s what I’ve loved most. Plus, the friendships I’ve gained. This bootcamp community has been so supportive.”
It’s easy to look at before-and-after photos and forget the inner transformation, but Holly said it best.
“I’m proud of my before and after pictures, BUT what they don’t capture is how I feel! ”
