My personal belief and the philosophy I have instilled amongst my team is ‘listening is essential’ and ‘knowledge is power’ – the more we listen to our clients health goals and fitness aims the more we can support them achieve, gain valuable knowledge along the way and ultimately set goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time focused. Writing these down will provide greater insight into individual goals for both the trainer and the client, laying the foundation for a carefully tailored, actionable plan and programme.
